Google Search Console from your terminal
gsc-cli is an independent, unofficial open-source CLI for Google Search Console. Sign in with your Google account to read search performance, see how Google indexed your pages, manage sitemaps and properties, and export your data, from a scriptable tool built for people and coding agents alike.

Built for humans at the keyboard and coding agents alike.
Search performance
Totals that match the Performance report, top queries and pages, trends by hour, day, week, or month, and period comparisons that never count a missing row as zero.
Every query option
All seven dimensions, six search types, regex filters, hourly data, and every row Google exposes, well past the web UI’s 1,000-row table.
URL Inspection
Google’s indexed view of a page: verdict, coverage, last crawl, canonicals, and rich results, for one URL or a paced batch that stops at the quota.
One-command login
gsc auth login opens your browser once and keeps the token in your OS keychain. Service accounts, ADC, and impersonation cover CI.
Built for agents
-o json envelopes that state dates, data state, and completeness, structured errors, --read-only, and --dry-run for every write.
Export & insights
Resumable day-by-day export to CSV or NDJSON, plus striking-distance, low-CTR, and cannibalization reports computed locally with their thresholds shown.
How gsc uses your Google data
gsc runs on your computer and signs in with your Google account to reach Search Console on your behalf. Read the privacy policy for the details.
What it asks for
Search Console access (the webmasters scope, or webmasters.readonly with --scope readonly) and your email address, so gsc can show which account is signed in.
What it does with it
Lists your properties, reads performance and URL Inspection results, and adds or removes sitemaps and properties, each only when you run that command.
Where it goes
Your data travels only between Google and your computer. It is never sent to the developer or anyone else, and your login is kept in your OS keychain unless you choose a local file.
