URL Inspection
Use gsc inspect to see Google's indexed view of one URL or a paced batch, within the URL Inspection quota.
gsc inspect https://www.example.com/pricing
gsc inspect --file urls.txt -o json
cat urls.txt | gsc inspect --file - --max 200gsc inspect calls the URL Inspection API for each URL. The table shows the verdict, coverage state,
indexing state, last crawl time, page fetch state, robots.txt state, Google-selected and user-declared
canonicals, the crawler used, and rich results. JSON returns Google's full result for each URL.
URL Inspection reports the version Google has indexed, as last crawled. It is not a live test of the page as it is now, and the API cannot request indexing.
Batches and quota
Google allows 2,000 inspections per property per day and 600 per minute. gsc inspect:
- reads URLs from arguments, or from
--file(one per line,-for stdin), and skips duplicates; - inspects at most
--maxURLs (default 2,000, the daily quota) and warns when it drops the rest; - pauses
--intervalbetween inspections (default120ms, which stays under 600 per minute); - records an error for a single URL and moves on, but stops cleanly when a quota is reached, keeping the results it has.
Inspect only the URLs you need: every inspection counts against the property's quota.
Language
--language sets the language of issue messages as a BCP 47 code (default en-US):
gsc inspect https://www.example.com/de/preise --language de-DESearch Analytics queries
Use gsc query for every Search Analytics option, including dimensions, filters, search types, data states, aggregation, pagination, and raw request bodies.
Bulk export
Export Google Search Console data day by day to CSV or NDJSON files with gsc export, and resume after an interruption.
