Nginx Proxy Manager
Read Nginx Proxy Manager proxy hosts, redirections, streams, certificates and the audit log in read-only mode.
What it covers
Nginx Proxy Manager holds routing and TLS: which host forwards to which upstream, redirections, TCP and UDP streams, certificates and their expiry, and an audit log of changes. Use it when a symptom could be a routing change or an expired certificate.
Connect
reckon connect nginxpm-prod --org acme --provider nginxpm --for-env prodFill in ~/.reckon/orgs/acme/secrets/nginxpm-prod.env:
NGINXPM_URL=https://npm.example.com
NGINXPM_EMAIL=readonly@example.com
NGINXPM_PASSWORD=replace_meNGINXPM_INSECURE is optional. Instead of the file, you can run
reckon login nginxpm-prod in your own terminal: it runs nginxpm login and
keeps the profile in that connection's private config.
reckon verify nginxpm-prod runs nginxpm user current -o json.
Read-only contract
Reckon runs nginxpm with NGINXPM_READ_ONLY=true and
NGINXPM_NO_INPUT=true, so the CLI refuses creates, updates, deletes, enables,
disables and renewals. It also refuses --url, --email, --password,
--insecure, the short forms -p and -k, --profile, --read-only and
--no-input, and the login, config and update commands. Nginx Proxy
Manager users can be limited to view-only permissions; use one for this
connection.
