Search performance

Read Bing search performance with bwt, including top queries and pages, traffic by day, drill-downs, and windowed summaries.

bwt stats summary --compare previous # totals for the latest 28 days, and the change
bwt stats traffic --since 2026-09-01 # clicks and impressions by day
bwt stats queries --sort clicks --limit 20 # top queries
bwt stats pages --sort impressions --limit 20 # top pages

Drill down

bwt stats query-pages "running shoes" # pages that rank for a query
bwt stats page-queries https://www.example.com/shoes/ # queries that lead to a page
bwt stats detail "running shoes" https://www.example.com/shoes/ # position detail for both
bwt stats query-traffic "running shoes" # daily history for a top query

Summaries

bwt stats summary sums daily site traffic over the latest --days (default 28) calendar days that Bing returned and recomputes CTR from the sums. --compare previous adds the preceding window and the change; percentage changes are null when the earlier value is zero, and the CTR change is in percentage points.

Filtering and sorting

--since, --until, --limit, --sort, and --asc work locally, because Bing's API has no date range or paging. Sort keys: date, clicks, impressions, ctr, query, position, avg-click-position, and avg-impression-position.

bwt stats queries --since 2026-09-01 --sort ctr --limit 10 -o json

These are Bing's top rows, not complete data. Never add query or page rows up into site totals; use stats summary. See Reading the data.
